Biography

Georges Goewie received his B.Sc. in Physics from RWTH University in Aachen. In pursuit of his M.Sc. in Physics, specializing in Quantum Tech- nology, he joined the PGI-13 group for his master’s project focusing on the peripheral electronics of quantum chips. He met fellow Dutchman Prof. Barends by chance, and it appeared that the aspiration to develop useful technology proved to perfectly align with the group’s focus. After attending Prof. Barends’ lectures, he joined the group.
